New brands usually fill this space with badges and case studies. We do not have those yet and will not invent them. What we can offer is four things you can open right now and judge for yourself — no email, no form, nothing asked in return.
Company, branch or liaison office?
Five questions and you see which structures Turkish law leaves open to you — including the liaison office time limits that rarely appear anywhere.

Capital thresholds, waiting periods, customs code structure — each with the law behind it and the date it was last checked. Including six figures we deliberately left out, and why.

Which acts Turkish law reserves to advocates, sworn-in fiscal advisers and customs brokers — and the four things we will not do. Ask any provider the same question.

No case studies. No published prices. No team page with faces on it. A brand that started this year. All four written down, with the reason for each.

Companies arrive at very different points, and the useful first answer is different for each. Pick the one that sounds like you — each page is written for that position rather than for everybody.

We are considering Türkiye
Four decisions come before the company — including whether entering is right at all.
Enter Türkiye →We are here and it is not working
Four providers, each correct in their own scope, and the operation still failing between them.
Operate Türkiye →We need presence, not a company
A team, an address and physical capability without building an organisation you will have to unwind.
Your Office →We buy from or sell through Türkiye
Supplier verification, distribution, stock for the region — and the two ways it ends.
Grow Türkiye →We don’t just advise. We operate.
Advisers tell you what should happen. Somebody still has to make it happen — file the declaration, move the pallet, answer the ministry’s letter, hold the deadline nobody owns. That is the work most foreign companies are actually short of. Your existing accountant, lawyer and broker keep doing what they are licensed to do; we own the work between them, and we are answerable to you when it slips.

Every handover between them is yours to notice, chase and reconcile — and the gaps between two providers belong to neither of them.
1 contract · 1 invoice · 1 point of contact
The same specialists, still performing their own licensed work — coordinated behind one point of contact.
Services requiring professional authorisation are carried out by the licensed persons or firms entitled to perform them.

Everything a Türkiye operation needs. Under one roof.
Twelve capability areas, seventy-three defined services, ordered the way the work actually happens. Most providers in this market handle entities, filings and payroll; far fewer touch anything that physically moves. We start with what the trade data says about your product code, then run that flow — customs, bonded storage, distribution.

Entering Türkiye takes a few weeks. Leaving is a separate process — and when it isn’t planned from the start, its cost becomes unpredictable. A statutory closing inspection cannot be removed. What can be changed is what it finds — which is decided in year one, by whether the accounts were certified.

No liquidation, no inspection, no personal liability. You scale down or step out — the structure stays with us.
What people ask before they write.
Including what it costs, and what we will not claim until formal advice comes back.
Can we run a Türkiye operation without setting up our own company?
Often yes, and which routes stay open depends on whether you will sell, invoice or collect money here. If you will not, a liaison office is the cheapest and fastest structure, with time limits set by the purpose of the permission. If you will, it means a company or a branch.
The structure selector narrows it in five questions, free and with no form. The decision itself is settled with a licensed tax adviser, because your treaty position and your group reporting matter as much as Turkish law does.
Do you employ people on our behalf — is this employer of record?
We do not use that term and we are deliberate about it. What holds up in Türkiye is a service relationship where we deliver a defined outcome with our own organisation. What is fragile is holding a payroll for people who, in substance, work under your direction inside your business — because that is the arrangement an inspection is built to detect.
Several providers do advertise employer of record for Türkiye. We have formal legal advice in progress on how that is constructed, and until it comes back we are not making a claim either way.
What does it cost?
Defined studies carry a fixed fee agreed in advance. An ongoing operation is a monthly retainer for a defined scope. Volume work — declarations, pallets, orders — is priced per transaction. There are no success fees on permits, refunds, incentives or clearances.
We do not publish figures yet. A price published once and left for two years is worse than no price, because somebody puts it in a plan. They go up when they can be kept current.
Do you handle the goods, or only the paperwork?
The goods. Customs classification, landed cost, importer of record, clearance, bonded or free storage, distribution and returns. Most providers in this market handle entities, filings and payroll; far fewer touch anything that physically moves.
Declarations are filed by licensed customs brokers in their own name, because Turkish law reserves that act to them. We design and run the process around it and answer commercially for the result.
What happens when the project ends?
That is planned from the first month rather than discovered at the end. Either the operation is handed over to your own organisation — records, filings, contracts and system access in usable form — or the entity is closed properly.
It is the most expensive thing nobody plans for, and how it goes was decided years earlier: in the structure chosen, in whether the accounts were certified, and in whether anyone could actually run the liquidation.
Are you a law firm or an accountancy practice?
Neither, and not a customs broker. Acts that Turkish law reserves to a licensed profession are performed by the licence holder in their own name — advocates under Law No. 1136, sworn-in fiscal advisers under Law No. 3568, customs brokers under Law No. 4458.
What we are is the layer that designs and runs the process around those acts, under one contract, and is answerable for the result. The governance page sets out which act belongs to whom, and the engagements we decline.
Legislation named in these answers: Advocacy Law No. 1136, Law No. 3568 on sworn-in fiscal advisership and Customs Law No. 4458. The Official Gazette date and issue for each is on the key figures page, read at source rather than restated here — a citation does not change, but a copy of the law goes stale.
Further reading: guides, published only where we have something to say; free tools, nothing behind an email; and a glossary of the Türkiye terms that cost money when they are confused.
