Seven stages. The same team throughout.
Most engagements in this market hand you between departments as the work changes. Ours does not — specialists change with the matter, the people who know your operation do not. Continuity is most of what you are actually buying.
Discover, design, establish, operate, control, grow — and the seventh, which most providers leave out entirely: hand over or close.
You can join at any stage. Most companies that contact us are already in Türkiye and find stage four harder than they expected.
- 01
Discover
What do you want to do in Türkiye, and does the trade data support it? The Opportunity Scan sits here — free, consultant-prepared, and capable of concluding that you should not proceed.
- 02
Design
Structure, importer of record, where people sit, what is licensed and what is coordinated. The decisions that are cheap now and expensive to reverse later.
- 03
Establish
Entity or presence, tax registration, banking, permits, and the operational apparatus that makes a registration usable rather than merely existing.
- 04
Operate
The work itself — customs, storage, distribution, payroll, filings, authorities, suppliers, customers. Where most companies discover what they actually needed.
- 05
Control
Tasks, deadlines, documents, stock and customs status visible in the portal. Not a monthly summary written by the party being assessed.
- 06
Grow
Distributors, suppliers, marketplaces, incentives, capacity. Scaling an operation that is already running correctly rather than scaling a problem.
- 07
Hand over or close
The operation transfers to the organisation you have built, or the structure is closed properly. Planned at the start, because that is the only point at which planning is cheap.
Specialists change with the matter. The people who know your operation do not hand you on.
What continuity actually buysOne decision-maker
who answers within the week.
Engagements slow down because a question sat unanswered far more often than because something was technically difficult. A named person on your side who can decide, or escalate quickly, changes the pace of everything.
The second thing is access to what already exists — filings, contracts, correspondence with authorities, and an honest account of anything outstanding. We do not need the history to be clean. We need it to be complete.
How engagements are priced.
We are not publishing figures yet, and we are not going to put numbers on a website before we can stand behind them. The structure, though, is not a secret.
Defined studies
Scope, output and timeline agreed in advance. The Opportunity Scan is the exception — it is free, for reasons set out on its own page.
Known before you startOngoing operation
A defined scope of capabilities at a defined intensity. Adjusted when the operation changes, in writing, rather than appearing on an invoice.
Most engagementsVolume-driven work
Declarations, pallets, orders — where the work genuinely scales with volume rather than with time.
Goods operationsOne commitmentNo success fees on regulatory outcomes. A fee contingent on a permit being granted or a classification being accepted creates an incentive we do not want to have, and it is the kind of arrangement that looks different to an inspector than it did in the meeting.
Questions we are actually asked.
Including what it costs, where the honest answer is that we are still working toward publishing figures.
Do we have to start at stage one?
No. Companies arrive at every stage. Some are still deciding whether to enter; most that contact us are already here and find the running harder than the setting up. If you have an entity, providers and a problem, we start by looking at what exists rather than proposing a design.
How long does the first stage take?
The Opportunity Scan is usually days rather than weeks, because it is built on public trade data and the work is analysis rather than fieldwork. A review of an existing operation takes longer, because it means reading filings, correspondence and books that were kept by somebody else.
Is the same team involved throughout?
The coordination team stays the same. Specialists change with the work — a customs matter goes to the broker, a certification to the sworn-in adviser — but the person who knows your operation does not hand you on.
This is the opposite of how large firms usually structure an engagement, and it is deliberate. Continuity is most of what you are buying.
What do you need from us?
A named decision-maker who can answer questions within a working week, and access to what already exists — filings, contracts, correspondence. Engagements slow down because a question sat unanswered far more often than because something was technically difficult.
Can we stop at any point?
Yes, on the terms in the engagement. What we will not do is make leaving awkward. Your data is exported in usable formats and, where an operation is running, we plan a handover rather than switching it off.
What does it cost?
It depends on which capabilities you use and at what intensity, and we build it per case. We are working toward publishing indicative figures, and we are not going to put numbers on the site before we can stand behind them.
What we can tell you now is the shape: fixed fee for defined studies, monthly retainer for ongoing operation, per-transaction where volume drives the work. No success fees on regulatory outcomes.
